Francone Bespoke Taps proud to be an official patron for the RREC’s celebration of 120 years of Rolls-Royce

On 4 May 2024, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars marked the 120th anniversary of the historic meeting between Henry Royce and The Hon. Charles Stewart Rolls. Since that pivotal moment, the name Rolls-Royce has become synonymous with exceptional engineering, timeless design, and the very highest standards of luxury motoring.

A 1920s Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost is instantly recognisable for its elegance and precision—qualities that strongly resonate with Francone Bespoke Taps founder, Paolo Francone. His appreciation for precision engineering and refined design has shaped the company’s collection of luxury brass bathroom fixtures, including bespoke brass taps, shower systems, heated towel rails, and handcrafted bathroom accessories.

“Like luxury automotive engineering, our traditional solid brass fixtures represent flawless functionality expressed through timeless design,” says Paolo. “Italian craftsmanship, British design influence, and the purity of the brass used in our pieces ensure they endure beautifully. Much like a classic car, our fixtures develop character over time, evolving with a charm that can be enjoyed for generations.”

It is therefore fitting that one of the world’s most prestigious automotive organisations, the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts’ Club (RREC), has announced the launch of a commemorative publication titled 120 Years of Rolls-Royce. The book celebrates the remarkable legacy of what is widely regarded as ‘the world’s best car’.

Reflecting the publication’s focus on craftsmanship, heritage, and engineering excellence, 120 Years of Rolls-Royce features a carefully curated selection of distinguished brands that share these values. We are proud to announce that Francone Bespoke Taps has been named an official patron of this RREC celebration, recognising the brand’s commitment to luxury craftsmanship and timeless design.

Although Francone Bespoke Taps is based in Berkshire, England, its traditionally styled solid brass bathroom fixtures are crafted by skilled artisans in Piedmont, northern Italy, a region internationally recognised for its heritage in brass craftsmanship and metalworking. Founder Paolo Francone was born in Piedmont before later moving to London, where he developed a deep appreciation for classic British design and architecture. In 2011, he founded Francone Bespoke Taps to bring these two influences together—combining Italian artisanal craftsmanship with British design principles. Today, the company shares this expertise globally through its collection of bespoke brass taps, shower systems, and bathroom accessories, available through its carefully curated online store and dedicated customer service.

Commenting on the company’s involvement in the publication, Paolo Francone said:

“It’s an honour to be part of this illustrious publication celebrating 120 years of Rolls-Royce—a legacy of luxury, innovation, and timeless elegance that continues to inspire generations worldwide.”

The commemorative book, 120 Years of Rolls-Royce, is scheduled to launch at Grosvenor House in central London on 10 December 2024, marking a significant milestone in the history of luxury automotive engineering.
