We use standard ‘British Standard Pipe’ thread sizes used throughout the sanitary industry. 1/2″ for shower hose, valves that screw into sink or basin taps and UK connectors. 3/4″ for bath tap rigid tails, valves that fit into bath taps. 1.25″ for basin wastes. 1.5″ for bath & sink wastes.

Keeping your taps and brassware clean isn’t hard, but it does take regular effort. Make sure you make the cleaning part of your daily or weekly chores to avoid tarnishing. Normally, a damp cloth is all it takes to shine up your taps. Abrasive cleaners can actually damage brass, but if the damp cloth alone doesn’t cut it, try a mix of warm, soapy water with the cloth. Also be sure you dry the brass completely once you’re finished cleaning, this will prevent water spots and further damage.

Before cleaning your taps, make sure that the surface is not hot. Do not use harsh detergents but choose a delicate product with a neutral PH. After each use dry taps with a soft cloth.

We recommend cleaning the product surface every day by wiping it using exclusively a soft cloth and water. We recommend not to spray cleaners directly on taps , mixers or showers, but on a soft cloth, then use this one to clean the areas concerned. Take care to dry immediately any drops or water build-ups since they may lead to the formation of lime scale deposits that could be difficult to remove at a later time.

Never use detergents, abrasives, solvents, chemicals, products containing muriatic acid, ammonia, acetone, bleach, household acids, various disinfectants. For cleaning don’t use sponges, abrasive cloth or tools that may irremediably spoil the product surface.

Our washbasins are totally waterproof, thanks to the particular techniques through which the internal and external surfaces have been treated. In order to maintain their beauty unchanged in the time, during the cleaning operations it is highly recommended not to use de-calcifying products, acids, corrosive or abrasive detergents. It is enough to apply a neutral soap with a sponge.

In case of shower heads and shower columns, we recommend their frequent use (at least once every 5 days), to prevent the formation of limestone. A very sporadic use, in fact, favors limestone sedimentation, and the subsequent occurrence of malfunctions and abnormal water spurts.
